This was the piece that started it all. I've had the sketches for this idea laying around for years. At one point I'd meant to have a couple of friends pose for it but never got around to it.

I had planned to work on it while on the trip to Italy with my wife. I realized I hadn't really fleshed out the characters both Medusa and her warrior lover. So I started sketching.

And that unlocked a series of Medusa pieces that continues to pay creative dividends.
